Accommodation for the Conference

There is limited accommodation available at the University of Bristol this year and so we have arranged for a few extra bedrooms to be available at the IBIS Hotel or the Berkeley Square Hotel which can be booked when registering for the conference. Please note due to the limited numbers of rooms we have available, these will be allocated on a first come basis. Further details on the accommodation options available to book at the time of registration are listed below.

Hawthorns Accommodation at the University of Bristol

The Hawthorns accommodation at the University of Bristol is approximately 5 minutes’ walk from the Wills Memorial Building. Please see map for reference.
There is limited accommodation available at the University with only 30 ensuite bedrooms and up to 80 standard rooms with shared bathroom facilities. The bedrooms at the Hawthorns have recently been refurbished and include bed linen and towels which are changed every other day, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. This accommodation is reasonably priced and is ideal for delegates attending on a budget.
NB This accommodation is not suitable for disabled delegates as access to the bedrooms is via short flights of steps

Ibis Bristol City Centre Hotel

The Ibis Bristol City Centre is a budget range hotel offering modern guest bedrooms at a reasonable cost. The hotel has an ideal location for both the conference, exploring the city centre and harbour side. It is approximately a 10 – 15 minute walk to the Wills Memorial Building but please note that there is an uphill walk to climb on the way. This hotel is also ideally situated opposite the At-Bristol Science Centre where the Annual Gala Dinner will be held on the Wednesday evening. All rooms have internet access and satellite TV, full English Buffet Breakfast is included the following morning in the Café Restaurant. Parking is not available at the hotel however discounted parking is available just across the road.

The Berkeley Square Hotel

The Berkeley Square Hotel is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Wills Memorial Building and is classed as a small boutique hotel with luxury accommodation. This is an ideal location for the conference and is a 10 – 15 minute walk from the Council House where the dinner is on the Tuesday evening and the At-Bristol Science Centre where the Annual Gala Dinner is being hosted on the Wednesday. We have a limited selection of bedrooms available at this hotel with a mixture of singles and doubles. Included with the rate is full English breakfast the following day. Limited parking is available at the hotel, please contact them direct to arrange this.
