Welcome to the SLS Annual Conference 2012

Description: Keith StantonThis year’s conference theme - Pressing Problems in the Law and Legal Education - looks to the future at a time when the law, legal education and scholarship are facing many challenges.

As always, the SLS conference aims to provide delegates with challenging and thought-provoking debate alongside social events with ample ‘networking’ opportunities with other delegates and publishers.

The conference sessions will be held in the Wills Memorial Building which is a great example of perpendicular gothic style, built in the early 1900’s. The Great Hall will play host to the publishers’ exhibition along with all refreshments and lunches during the conference.

This year’s conference will see the introduction of poster presentations and software demonstrations along with social events at some of Bristol’s leading venues including the At Bristol Science Centre for the Annual Gala Dinner and a fabulous West Country themed buffet on board the SS Great Britain.

There is limited accommodation available at the University, so we have arranged some additional accommodation at local hotels all within a 15 minute walk of the Wills Memorial Building.

I look forward to welcoming you to Bristol for a stimulating and memorable SLS conference.

Keith

Professor Keith Stanton, SLS President.
